Description

This class continues the instruction from beginner I class, combining the footwork and basic strikes.  The basic strikes will develop further to different target locations.

In addition to the footwork and strike, the class also emphasizes on basic stances (kamae), footwork (ashi-sabaki), proper form to hold and swing the bamboo sword (shinai), and proper strike posture and focus (fumikomi).

Students usually get a recommendation from instructors for advancement to higher level class after completion of beginner I and II.
